I just finished Misc. A Tiny Tale last night on Switch and let me tell you this was the best indie game I've played in a long time! If you enjoyed games like Mail Time, Smushi Come Home, or other cozy quest games like those, you'll love this.
To sum it up shortly, there is a giant explosion that sends the whole world of these tiny robots into chaos, and it's the job of you, Buddy, and your friend Bag Boy to fix things up. The main things you need to do are help others, find golden cogs, and clean up any trash in the area. Optionally, you can also complete a separate platforming challenge on each level from a raccoon-bot named Gus.
The thing that makes this game stand out from games like it is the message behind it in accepting yourself and being kind to others. If you're struggling with any insecurities or self-acceptance I think this game would be a good game to play. (There is also a very cute LGBTQ quest!)
I don't want this post to be too long, so I'll list some of my other positives of this game below:
